Current Ethnography and Social Theory Workshop
The Current Ethnography and Social Theory workshop invites graduate students and teaching fellows from anthropology and related disciplines to share long-form works in progress, such as dissertation chapters, theses, articles, and book chapters that use ethnographic methods. Prioritizing ethnography as a site of theory generation, the workshop welcomes papers on topics ranging from colonialism, capitalism, and labor to religion, gender and queer theory, law, health and medicine, ecology, interspecies relations, subjectivity, and contemporary political formations.
