Political Theory Workshop

The Political Theory Workshop at the University of Chicago serves as a central forum for the presentation and critical discussion of ongoing research in political theory. Its primary purpose is to create a rigorous yet collegial space in which doctoral students, faculty, and invited guests engage substantively with works in progress, with particular emphasis on sharpening arguments, clarifying conceptual stakes, and situating projects within broader theoretical and historical debates.
