Workshop on Hemispheric Studies of the Americas

The Workshop on Hemispheric Studies of the Americas builds on the foundation laid by the Workshop on Latin America and the Caribbean (held since 2012) while expanding its scope to a broader, comparative vision of the Americas, across national borders, languages, and disciplines. Inspired by hemispheric approaches that foreground connections across the Global North and South, the workshop seeks to engage Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx studies within shared analytical frameworks attentive to the life-worlds, politics, and cultures of the American hemisphere.
